JSA will be hosting the season opening tournament this year. This will be a draft tournament as we are trying some new things. We are looking for team captains! So please let us know if you are interested in being one.

Games will be held at the Savikko Park aka Sandy Beach

Expected schedule of events are as follows;

Thursday May 9th will be the draft – evening
Saturday-May 11th games 8:00am-7:00pm
Sunday- May 12th games 9:00am-2:00pm

Player fees are $30, and players may register via LeagueApps or by contacting info@juneausoftball.com. Registration deadline is Wednesday May 8th at 6pm. Teams will have a max of 11 players. Late signups may be allowed if needed. Please only register if you can fully commit to both days.

We are hoping as many teams as possible. Coed players are also encouraged to register.

This will be a snake draft and captains will draft accordingly. This will also be a triple elimination tournament.

Awards!

Game MVPs will receive pins.

Champion teams will receive hoodies.
Hoodies and shirts will be available 2 weeks after the tournament. We will confirm sizes after the championship game.

There will be a 10 player all tournament team, as well as, all tournament MVP who will receive shirts. There will be 1 man and 1 woman All Tournament MVP. The Tournament Team will be announced after championship game at the field.

There will also be a drawing for 3 bat bags your player registration will enter you into the drawing.
