2020 Season Update

With the news about the Governor’s reopening plan phase III and phase IIII going live simultaneously on Friday May 22nd, we are hopeful our 2020 Regular Season will be able to begin soon, we still have some work to do, but we are shooting for a June 15th start date.

The JSA Board continues to meet regularly and is still communicating with CBJ to make sure we have everything ready to have a safe season.

We will continue to send updates as information becomes available.

Please continue to register teams and players through League Apps, as we hope to have a quick turn around as soon as we get the go-ahead.

Please reach out to us at info@juneausoftball.com with any questions.

Registration Deadline Extended

The 2020 Season registration deadline has been extended until further notice. The JSA board is currently working with CBJ to make sure we have everything we need to ensure a safe season.

We are hoping to have more information out by the end of the week. Please continue to register your teams, so when we get the green light, we can have a quick turnaround on scheduling. There is also no payment due at this time, we will work to collect payment from members and sponsors once the season has begun.

Please reach out to us at info@juneausoftball.com with any questions.

Registration Deadline Extended

With the extension of the social distancing mandate as well as JSA not falling under phase 1 of reopening the State, we have decided to extend the deadline for the 2020 Regular Season to Wednesday May 13th. Please continue to register your teams and players through League Apps.

We are still hopeful to be included under phase 2 of reopening the State which is supposed to begin on Friday May 8th. If that is the case, we will be able to have a quick turnaround of classifications, creating the season schedule and begin our season as scheduled on June 1st.

The JSA Board and Committees are still meeting regularly and are working on additional situations in case we are not included under phase 2 and what that will look like for our 2020 season.

We will continue to send out updates as things progress.
