We hope you are all recovering from the 2020 season and have been safe and healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The JSA board and our Executive Director have spent the last few months pregaming for the 2021 season. We attended an all-day planning session in October and had our monthly board meetings in November and January. Below is some information regarding the upcoming season that we wanted to share.


Our COVID-19 Committee will continue to meet this year to prepare for our upcoming season. They will be looking over the mitigation plan that was put into place during last season to make sure it is up to date. They will also be in contact with CBJ, Parks and Rec and JDOA to make sure we have everything in place that is needed for us to begin our season on time. Updated information will be sent out to all members as needed.

Spring Season

Spring Season was something that we tried to start for the first time last year. Unfortunately, due to COVID, we did not have the opportunity to have Spring Season. The 2021 season will start May 1st and go through May 30th with a Spring Coed League. This will be similar to what second season has been in the past, only in reverse. We are hoping this will give teams a little more time to recruit players, like those finishing high school and college semesters, in turn increasing membership.

Regular Season

Our Regular Season will begin May 31st and end August 20th.


Registration for both Spring Season and Regular Season will be live beginning February 1st. Click on our Registration tab on the website to start this process.

Team & Player Fees

The JSA board has made the decision to raise the fees for both teams and players. Here is the new free breakdown:

  • Spring Season Player Fee – $35.00
  • Spring Season Coed Team Fee – $310.00
  • Regular Season Player Fee – $60.00
  • Regular Season Coed Team Fee – $535.00
  • Regular Season Men’s/Women’s Team Fee – $800.00


During our all-day planning session, the JSA board made the decision to have our annual Rainball tournament held June 24th-27th this year. This decision was made with the hope of getting more local and out of town participation. Rainball will include Men, Women and Coed teams again this year. Please be prepared for the possibility of games being played ALL DAY on Friday June 24th. These changes have been made with the focus on making this a great overall tournament for our membership.

The JSA board will be needing assistance from the league to make Rainball successful since our board members are first and foremost players. Volunteers are welcomed and encouraged! We will need help in the concession stand and with sponsors for the tournament.

End of Season Tournament

JSA will be hosting an End of Season Tournament that will be held July 30th-August 1st. More decisions regarding this tournament still need to be made by the board. We will provide additional information as decisions are made.
