It’s time to start thinking about softball! We’re excited to share some updates regarding the 2023 season.

Registration for both Spring and Regular Season goes live on Friday, February 3! Log into LeagueApps or click on the Registration tab on the website to get started. If you have questions or need help registering, you can visit us at one of many upcoming registration roundup events we have planned this year. Our first event is at Barnaby Brewing Company on Friday, February 3 from 4:30-6:30 pm.

Spring & Regular Season Dates:

  • Spring Season (Coed only): May 1-26
  • Regular Season (Men’s, Women’s, & Coed leagues): May 29-August 18 2023

Timeline & Deadlines: 

  • April 10 @ 5 pm – Last day to register for Spring Season
  • April 10 – Spring Season Classifications
  • April 20 – Spring Season Manager’s Meeting
  • April 28 – Last day to register for Regular Season
  • April 30 – Regular Season Classifications
  • May 18 – Regular Season Manager’s Meeting 2023

JSA Tournament Schedule

Mark your calendars for the following dates:

  • NEW! Showcase 1 Pitch Tournament: May 19-21
  • 3rd Annual Coed Superdraft Tournament: June 23-25
  • 48th Annual Jamie Parson’s Memorial Rainball Tournament: July 27-30

Our goal is to open registration for all tournaments on Friday, March 3. Please keep an eye out for more information regarding the tournaments.

Pitcher’s Masks

This year, JSA will no longer provide pitching masks. Managers and pitchers, please make sure to secure your own equipment prior to the season start date.

2023 Umpire Information

We are now recruiting umpires for the season. JSA players who decide to umpire will have their player fees waived for the season! Training will be offered starting in the spring for all new and returning umpires. If you’re interested in umpiring this year, fill out this form to get started.

Team & Player Fees

No changes this year! All player and team fees for both the season and tournaments remain the same. The full list of fees can be found on our website. PS: Did you pay your player and/or team fees in full last season? Now is a great time to check your LeagueApps account – let us know if your records don’t match ours. 

JSA Board Seats

The JSA Board currently has the following two vacant seats: Men’s F and Women’s D. If you are registered in one of these divisions and are interested in being on the JSA Board, please let us know.

Rule Changes for 2023
